Leela has developed a successful career as a stylist in the salon and session stylist on photo shoots. Internationally trained, she has traveled and studied under the industry’s leading educators in London, Italy, Las Vegas,Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver and Calgary. Her training at Vidal Sassoon in London and Toronto further developed her skill in the art of hair - both in color and hair cutting.

Through collaborations with other creatives, hair shows, courses and photo shoots, Leela is constantly growing her knowledge and ability as a stylist, learning new techniques and skills and gaining inspiration from her creative life. She loves to create looks for her clients that enhance

their own style while working with their lifestyle.

Combining the world of hair and fashion has taken Leela behind-the-scenes in many photo shoots and fashion shows. Her creative ability and eye allows her to pull together the best team to create beauty and edge. She has been a stylist and creative director on an array of

photo shoots including - album covers, music videos, magazines, marketing and various other styles of photo shoots. Her experience as a creative director, wardrobe stylist and hairstylist gives her a well-rounded approach when designing a shoot or bringing together the right team.

As a designer, Leela is continuously inspired by the world around her. Her background in couture sewing and design has lead her to create a brand of up-cycled clothing, re-designing sweatshirts, leather jackets and denim jackets.

Leela merged her talents to execute Inspire Project: Mini Heroes, a portrait collection of historically influential people brought to life through little children. Photographing 50 children in 7 months is no small task but by using her experience and expertise, she was able to direct the photo shoots and create a beautiful book.

As the founder of Inspire Project, Leela believes it is important to do what you can to make this world a better place, one act at a time. Her team continues to work hard at inspiring people to make a difference in their own lives and the lives of others.

Inspire Project is a foundation with the goal to financially assist charities and increase visibility in a creative, hopeful and inspiring way.
