What you'll need | Measuring tape or string/shoelace and a ruler.

With a tailors measuring tape, start at the centre of your forehead and run the tape around your head at the occipital bone (the bump at the back of your head) to get the circumference measurement. 

If you don't have a tailors measuring tape, you can also use a string or shoelace. Measure the same way around your head and use the ruler to get measurement. 

The final size will be determined by the circumference measurement.
